Matteo Luvisi (FAEMS by Ebimotors Porsche) has signed the pole ahead of Race 2 in Misano. In another beautiful morning on the Adriatic Riviera, the young Italian posted a time of 1.35.359 after leading most of the session. He and teammate Pietro Delli Guanti will have another great opportunity to further reduce their gap in the standings, given that championship leaders Paul Meijer-Jurriaan De Bock (HWM) will start from last row.
Today’s result, precisely, marks the end of the triumph strike of poles (eight in a row, considering also last season) of Paul Meijer. The Dutchman saw his two best times cancelled because of track limits, including the one that put him on top of the standings for a while.
Yesterday’s winner Ludovico Longoni (ZRS Motorsport) was second-fastest, 0s278 behind. In row 2 will be Fabio Babini (Tsunami RT, +0s417) and Giacomo Pedrini (FAEMS by Ebimotors, +0s761), while in row 3 will be Diego Stifter (Bi Race Motorsport, +0s765) and the best Am performer, Dieter Svepes (LMR, +0s928).
The Zanasi Ferrari #69 will not take part to Race 2.
