A new team from Italy is the latest new entry joining the GT Cup Europe for 2026: BiRace Motorsport has announced a full-season campaign with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992). Based in Trescore, near Bergamo, the squad stems from the former Race Events outfit, with new investors supporting the project.
A strong Italian pair will be at the wheel, with Lodovico Laurini (29), well-known in the Italian GT and Porsche Carrera Cup Italia series and who has already GT Cup experience, is joined by Diego Stifter Torío (22), who has dual Spanish citizenship and joins from the Italian GT and the ADAC GT4.
