Championship top challenger Matteo Luvisi took his second pole of the season this morning in a wet qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps, at the wheel of the FAEMS by Ebimotors Porsche that he shares with Pietro Delli Guanti.
The young Italian posted a lap time of 2.35.547 after a fierce battle with Ludovico Laurini (BiRace Motorsport), who was beaten by a mere 0s020 in the closing moments, after leading part of the session. Also a provisional session leader, Evgenii Leonov (Volcano Motorsport) closed in third (+0s476), and first in Am, and will be in row 2 with Dieter Svepes (LMR, +0s911).
Lodovico Longoni (ZRS, +1s163) was fifth and will start from row 3 together with Championship co-leader Jurriaan De Back (HWM, +1s332), right ahead of the best Pro-Am driver, Bernardo Pinheiro (LMR).
