After a stunning debut in the GT Cup Europe last year, Dutch squad Hans Wijs Motorsport (HWS) is ready for a second campaign in the series. In 2025, the team based in Huissen and led by Adriaan de Boet stormed the Silver class taking the title and seven race wins with Laura van den Hengel and Paul Meijer, who also signed personal records: Laura was the first female driver to win a title in GT Sport competitions and Paul conquered six pole positions, meaning he was the fastest in all qualifying sessions he contested.
Expert Paul Meijer (40) will again lead the Porsche 992 Cup, associated this year with a young gun, Jurriaan de Back (18), who joins from GT4 Europe and Porsche Carrera Benelux.
This year the team will field full-season a second car, whose line-up will be communicated shortly, something that should enable HWS to improve the fourth position in the Teams’ standings obtained last year.
