Halder Motorsport is to make its GT Cup Europe at the last round of the season in Monza. The German squad, based in Messkirch (Baden-Württemberg) and ran by the Halder sibling, Mike and Michelle, who are also accomplished drivers, has made its reputation in TCR competitions, with many successes in the European, German, Spanish and Danish series. More recently, it has entered the GT scene, competing in the NLS Endurance series.
The team will field a Porsche 992 Cup, which will be entrusted to Mike Halder himself and Denmark’s Rene Povlsen.
Mike Halder stated: "I’m super pumped to hit the GT Cup Europe grid with my long-time teammate, Rene Povlsen. It’s our first shot at an international GT series, and we can’t wait to mix it up with some seriously fast teams. The field looks stacked — exactly the kind of challenge that pushes you to go flat-out from lights to flag.“
