The good form of the FAEMS by Ebimotors continues. After winning a closely fought and very entertaining Race 1 yesterday, Matteo Luvisi, at the wheel for Qualifying 2, took pole ahead of Race 2. Again on a sunny and beautiful day, the Italian posted a time of 1.44.800, leaving his most direct opponent, Dieter Svepes (LMR) 0s402 behind. The leading car in Am will certainly seek revenge after an unlucky outing yesterday.
In row 2 will be local hero Bernardo Pinheiro (AF Motorsport, +0s543), who literally grew up at this track, created and directed by his father, and Niccolò Schirò (ZRS, 0s550).
The other local hero, José Barros (AF Motorsport, +0s604), a brilliant second yesterday, will be in third row, shared by Cássio de Mello (GDL, +0s605).
Jurriaan De Back (HWM) took seventh, Felipe Massa (AF Motorsport) eleventh and the Villlorba Lamborghini of Michele Merendino twelfth. The RO1 Racing car did not take track, following damage sustained in Race 1 and is uncertain to start Race 2.
