Local hero Fabio Babini took the last pole of the season ahead of the Race 2 in Monza that will wrap-up the season. The Italian driver of Tsunami RT posted a time of 1.47.614, beating his country-fellow Pietro Armanni (ZRS Motorsport) by a very short margin, 4 thousandths. Both have already secured runner up honours for the season, in Pro-Am and Overall respectively.
Freshly-crowned 2025 Champion Ian Rodríguez (FAEMS Team) will be in second row (+0s048), along Daniele Cazzaniga (SP Racing, +0s150).
The third row is trusted by Q1 Trackracing, with yesterday’s winner Gonçalo Fernandes (+0s245) and Nicolas Saelens (+0s342), while in fourth row will be the two first Am cars, the Aggressive Lamborghini of Iván Velasco (+0s418) and confirmed champion Dieter Svepes (+0s579).
With 12 cars covered by one second, the last race, without major honours at stake (except the Teams’ title, for which fight Q1 Trackracing and FAEMS Teams, currently on equal points) promises to be lively.
The qualifying session saw two cars, the Easy Race Ferrari and the Team Cars Porsche, encountered technical issues.
