A faithful and successful contender of the GT Cup Europe since years, GDL Racing will continue to be a force to be taken into account in 2026. The Sanmarinese team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi will enter two Porsche 992 Cup in the Am class.
One of the cars will be in the hands of two Brazilian drivers debuting in the series, Nelson Monteiro and Nelson Marcondes, who have a long experience in GT and mono-brand series in their home country, and will live the dream of racing in Europe.
In the other car will be another Brazilian, Cássio H. de Mello and Italy’s Giacomo Giubergia, who know well the series and will join forces after driving ‘solo’ last year.
