Home debut in style for AF Motorsport in both the GT Cup Europe and the GT Open

The home track at Portimão will be the perfect setting for the debut in both the GT Cup Europe and the GT Open of AF Motorsport, the Portuguese team active both in Europe and the US and based in Arijo near Vila Real.

The team managed by Santiago Dobarco will enter two Porsche 911 GT3 Cups in the GT Cup Europe. At Portimão, one of the cars will be driven by a young Brazilian duo that will attract a lot of attention, as it is composed of Leonardo Reis (22) and Felipe Bassi Massa. Better known as Pipo Massa, the 16-year-old is the son of former F.1 star Felipe Massa, and has just made his GT debut last year after racing in karting.

Young is also the solo driver of the other car, Portugal’s José Barros (19).

The GT3 car entered in the GT Open will be driven by the team’s alma pater André Fernandes (44) and Venezuela’s Angelo Fontana (35), both Bronze drivers.
